Parker Solar Probe/FIELDS

The SPP/FIELDS experiment (PI : S. Bale, SSL, Berkeley UC) will measure the magnetic field and the waves in a wide frequency range. It will provide answers to the questions of the heating of the solar corona and the solar wind acceleration by measuring the low frequency Alfven waves and other kinetic aspects of turbulence and reconnection.
