Sae Aizawa completed her PhD between 2016 and 2019 under the supervision of Dominique Delcourt and Naoki Terada as part of a cotutelle between LPP and at Tohoku University, Japan. Sae then completed postdoctoral fellowships at IRAP in Toulouse (2019-2022) and ISAS/JAXA with the University of Pisa as a JSPS fellow (2022-2023). Her research focuses on the interactions between the solar wind and planetary environments, using numerical simulations and in situ data from various space missions. In addition, she has managed tasks related to the operation of BepiColombo.

Sae has been recruited as a research fellow in section 17 of the CNRS. At LPP, Sae joins on December 1, 2023 the "space plasmas" team of LPP to work on the BepiColombo and JUICE missions as a "co-investigator", focusing on studies related to wave-particle interactions and comparative planetology - exploring Sun-Planet interactions and their coupling through plasma, neutral atmosphere and planetary surface.

Welcome to LPP, Sae !
