Pauline Simon joins the LPP as an associate professor

After her Ph.D at LPP in the Space Plasmas team with Fouad Sahraoui and Sébastien Galtier from 2020 to 2023, Pauline Simon has carried out a two-year postdoc at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of Queen Mary University of London (UK). Her work focuses on analytical, numeric, and observational turbulence in the solar wind as well as on statistical methods to forecast space weather.

Pauline was recruited as Assistant Professor at Sorbonne University on September 1, 2025. At LPP, Pauline joins the "Space Plasmas" team to conduct research combining analytical, numerical, and observational turbulence in the solar wind and predictive statistical methods for space weather.
