Numerical Studies of Jupiter’s Magnetosphere-Ionosphere-Thermosphere Coupling Current System : Previous study and plans

Résumé : We investigate the effect of neutral dynamics on the ionosphere-magnetosphere coupling system on Jupiter, using a developed axisymmetric model. The temporal and spatial variation of the ionospheric conductance, which is one of the most important key parameters for the coupling system, is obtained using a newly prepared parameterization formula for ionization profile caused by auroral electrons.
