Launch of the PLAS@PAR Federation website

The PLAS@PAR Federation is happy to present its new website !

This site is intended for the whole plasma community (researchers, teachers, students, PhD, post-doctoral fellows, …) but also more broadly for students seeking information, a summer school, training related to plasmas, as well as the general public, with a section "Plasma, culture and society".
This site will be updated as much as possible in order to enable you to find all the news and key information about the Federation (calls, events, etc.).
Next step : the English version of the site !

To visit the new site : www.plasapar.sorbonne-universite.fr

The Labex website is currently maintained, however it is no longer updated ; it is now the Federation’s new website that we use.

The federation (FR2040) took over the labex of the same name on January 1, 2020. It continues the activities of the labex in terms of research support, teaching support and mediation for the general public. In 2020, it had a budget of 85k€ which allowed to organize a call for small research projects, to finance grants for students in the M2 Physics of Plasmas and Fusion, to set up new activities for the Fête de la Science and many other things that you will discover by visiting the site.

LPP is strongly involved in the federation since it is the only laboratory that is an integral part of the federation, alongside others that are not only involved in plasma science.
