KaPPA, an International French-Russian laboratory of CNRS is established

Toutes les versions de cet article : [English] [français]

Three principal directions of scientific research will be targeted within the LIA Project :

Pulsed plasmas for surface processing : improved control of the flux and energy distributions of charged particles and of gas excitation/dissociation

Electronically excited species in reactions of secondary ionization, in fast gas heating and in chemical kinetics of plasma-triggered systems

Effect of spatial-temporal structure of pulsed discharges on the physical and chemical features of gas fluxes

The main goal of the LIA laboratory is a consolidation, on the international level, of the fundamental research in the field of the kinetics of nonequilibrium plasmas, and a development of a strong collaboration between France and Russia with participation of experienced scientists and young researches from both countries.
