Jean-Paul Booth a reçu en 2019 le prix plasma par la société américaine du vide pour ses contributions exceptionnelles dans le développement de diagnostics avancés pour l’étude des plasmas réactifs.
A cause de la crise sanitaire, la cérémonie de remise de ce prix a eu lieu pendant la conférence AVS du 6 au 11 novembre 2022 à Pittsburgh (USA).
