Audrey Chatain has been awarded the 2021 René Pellat prize from SFP (French Physics Society)

We are pleased to congratulate Audrey Chatain for having been awarded the 2021 René Pellat prize from the (SFP) for her PhD thesis entitled “Aerosols-plasma interaction in Titan’s ionosphere”, under the co-supervision of Nathalie Carrasco (LATMOS) and Olivier Guaitella (LPP).

This prize is awarded once a year to a young researcher who has carried out exemplary work in plasma physics (hot, cold, natural).

Audrey did her PhD between LATMOS and LPP. Her objective was to understand the interaction between the organic aerosols and the plasma present in the ionosphere of Titan, the largest moon of Saturn. The content of her PhD is detailed here :
