Audrey Chatain has been awarded the 2021 PhD Research Award of the European Physical Society

We are pleased to congratulate Audrey Chatain for having been awarded the 2021 PhD Research Award of the Plasma Physics Division of the European Physical Society (EPS).

This price is annually granted to up to four young scientists from the 38 European countries associated with the EPS in recognition of outstanding research achievements associated with their PhD study in the broad field of plasma physics. The awardees will give an oral presentation of their work at the 47th European Physical Society Conference on Plasma Physics.

Audrey did her PhD between LATMOS (supervised by Nathalie Carrasco) and LPP (supervised by Olivier Guaitella). Her objective was to understand the interaction between the organic aerosols and the plasma present in the ionosphere of Titan, the largest moon of Saturn.

The content of her PhD is detailed here.
