Magnetic search-coils
The expertise of LPP in the construction of instruments measuring the magnetic field mainly concerns the induction magnetometers, called search-coils. They measure the variation of the magnetic flux, and therefore measure only AC magnetic fields.
Studies on emerging technologies of magnetic sensors aim at making them suitable for the measurement of almost continuous magnetic field.
