Catherine Krafft a rejoint le groupe "Plasmas Spatiaux"; Wahb Ettoumi et Marie-Christine Firpo ont rejoint le groupe "Plasma de Fusion Magnétique".
Research activities
The activities of the group mainly focus on problems of wave-particle interaction in a variety of domains, such as the magnetosphere, tokamaks and burning plasmas, discharges or laser-plasma interaction. The employed tools include the Hamiltonian formalism and its related perturbation theory and symplectic implementation, quasilinear theory and its limits, statistical mechanics as well as asymptotic methods in nonlinear regime.
