LPP studies all aspects of plasma physics and technology from space to the laboratory, from theory to experiments

The Plasma is a state of matter with extraordinary properties:

 Plasmas are ionized gases.

Plasmas can only exist when sufficient
external energy is supplied to strip electrons from the atoms and molecules.

Plasmas consist of equal densities of positively and negatively charged particles.

The charged particles interact with each other via magnetic and electric fields.

This leads to strong collective behavior over large distances.

They are also influenced by externally applied electric and magnetic fields.
