Cassini (1997-2017)

Pioneer 11 and Voyager Missions, although intended to observe the outer solar system, have provided important results on Saturn, Titan and their environments. To answer the many questions about the "saturnian world ", the need for a dedicated mission arose. The answer to this need was the Cassini-Huygens mission, in which the LPP is involved.
